SWINGEASY Fareham runs every Tuesday evening.
Everybody is welcome, whether on your own, with a partner, or with friends. No dance experience is required for SwingEasy although some regulars have been dancing for years!
Swingeasy is a regular, social weekly evening with two classes and plenty of freestyle dancing to your favourite tunes. It is the perfect opportunity for you to keep in the swing of things in a fun and friendly environment.
WHAT HAPPENS?
At the start of each evening, there is a beginner SwingJive class, which you can join whatever your level.
Our team then plays your favourite tunes for freestyle practice, before a more challenging class begins at 9pm. After that, you can dance the night away until the last track finishes at 10.15pm. Our friendly coaches will be on hand too, in case you need help with any moves, or just fancy a dance!
HOW MUCH?
Entry is £10pp per evening payable via this website.
Regular visitors can enjoy a discount by pre-booking a series of evenings or bulk booking undated, transferable sessions.

When the partner rotation course isn’t running, the times are as follows:
- 7.45pm Doors open
- 8.00-8.30pm Beginners class
- 9.00-9.30pm Intermediates class
- 10.15pm Finish

UPCOMING BEGS COURSE STARTS 1st OCT, 2024
From 1st Oct, the normal Swingeasy Beginners lesson will turn into an hourly session that follows the format of our 10-week Absolute Beginners course. This course will include partner rotation throughout.
To participate you can EITHER join the 10 week course OR book a weekly Swingeasy ticket. Everybody with a Swingeasy ticket can take part.
Those who book and pay for the course will enjoy extra benefits, check out the info on this link.

Our teachers will be giving a warm-up lesson to start the evening off, suitable for all levels. The Swinging DJ team will play a great mix of swing, rock’n’roll and rhythm and blues tracks to keep the dance floor busy at all other times.

King Joe and the Atlantics are an exciting six-piece supergroup featuring musicians that have performed in some of the UK’s finest rhythm’n’blues acts. They are fronted by King Joe, who is the rising star of the scene. Band members have performed as part of legendary groups such as Big Town Playboys, King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys and Jools Holland’s Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.

Swingeasy is a regular weekly evening with two classes, and plenty of freestyle dancing to your favourite tunes. It is the perfect opportunity for you to keep in the swing of things in a fun and friendly environment. WHAT HAPPENS? At the start of each evening, there is a beginner SwingJive class, which you can join in whatever your level. Our team then plays your favourite tunes for freestyle practice, before a more challenging class begins at 9pm. After that, you can dance the night away until the last rack finishes at 10.15pm! Our friendly coaches will be on hand too, in case you need help with any moves, or just fancy a dance! WHO CAN COME? All are welcome.
