Meet Your Instructor: Brooke
Many of you know Brooke from our popular online courses or have seen him leading the way at events. As co-founder of The Swing Dance Company, Brooke has over two decades of experience teaching thousands of people the joy of swing dance. He’s passionate about helping dancers develop their skills in a fun, supportive environment and has a keen eye for identifying exactly what’s needed to help you improve. Don’t miss this rare chance for in-person coaching!
What to Expect in the Workshop
This intensive mini-course is split over two engaging 1-hour sessions.
- Session 1: We’ll kick off with a fun freestyle warm-up where Brooke can observe everyone’s natural style. Then, based on his observations and your pre-submitted goals, you’ll receive your first round of personalised feedback and guided practice.
- Session 2: We’ll dive deeper into refining those key areas. You’ll work through specific drills and sequences designed to help you apply the feedback, smoothing out your technique and boosting your confidence, all with ongoing guidance from Brooke.
Is This Swing Technique Tune-Up For You?
This workshop is perfect for:
- Dancers comfortable with (at least) Intermediate level material from our courses.
- Those wanting to refine their technique, not just learn new steps.
- Dancers seeking personalised feedback to overcome specific challenges.
- Anyone feeling ‘stuck’ and ready to push their dancing to the next level!
- Lapsed students looking for a fresh challenge to jump back in!
Event Details & Booking
Ready to invest in your dancing and have a whole lot of fun doing it? Places are strictly limited to ensure everyone gets personalised attention!
Terms & Conditions
By booking a course we understand that you accept our terms and conditions, which can be viewed on this link. Terms and conditions cover issues such as payments and refunds, class sizes, arranging dance partners, and health and safety.
It also makes clear that our classes are for your enjoyment only, and there are no other permissions, for example, to promote, advertise, sell or gather data for anything, whether for profit or not.
Ready to take your swing dancing from good to great? Feeling like you’ve hit a plateau and need that extra spark to truly shine on the dance floor? Here’s your golden opportunity! Join Brooke Garvey for a unique, 2-session mini-course designed specifically for Intermediate (and above) dancers looking to refine their technique with personalised feedback. This isn’t your average class! Think of it as getting focused, semi-private coaching within a fun, supportive small group setting. It’s a rare chance to learn directly from Brooke in person and unlock your dancing potential.
