Join Intermediate Courses After Completing Beginners!
The Intermediate Yellow and Intermediate Green 10 week SwingJive Courses are the perfect follow on for anybody who has completed the Absolute Beginners SwingJive Course. This Yellow Intermediate course is the next level up from Beginners, and at the same level as Intermediate Green. The Green and Yellow Intermediate courses are available on alternate terms and can be taken in either order before heading up to the Inters Plus level.

Building on the Beginners Course
Our 10-week courses are well-structured and build week-on-week. The first week will include a recap of key moves from the Absolute Beginners Course. A new move is taught each week and this is added to moves from earlier in this course, as well as the Absolute Beginners course, to form short sequences. We also ensure plenty of free practice time to let you add the moves to your existing repertoire.
COVID-safe Classes
Making our classes COVID-safe is a high priority and we have a plan in place to help achieve this. Please check over our plan, by booking we understand that you are happy to go ahead with classes on the basis of the plan. This course is available on a first-come-first-serve basis and numbers will be limited in line with our COVID-safe plan. Everybody signing up for location-based classes will have access to our online courses this term.

Parking & Access
During the evenings, access is restricted to entrances on the Leisure Centre side of the site. Please drive to the Dorchester Leisure Centre entrance, DT1 2HR, and park in the parking areas around the leisure centre.
Finding The Studio
From the car park, walk past the entrance to the Upper Sports Hall and continue down the steps. Turn right and then enter the building on your left-hand side. Once inside, the studio is through a doorway to the left.
Finding The Upper Sports Hall
For classes in the Upper Sports Hall, it is best to park in the top car park to the left as you enter the Leisure Centre entrance from the main road. Follow the car park to the end, where you will find large main gates into the school grounds. Go through the double gates and bear right. The Upper Sports Hall is on your right-hand side (running parallel with the top car park).
Finding The Lower Sports Hall
Once parked, please walk onto the school site via the large double gates to the school slightly down the driveway and on the opposite side to the Leisure Centre. From the entrance gates, follow a U-shaped walk along the main driveway into the school to a central pedestrian square. After reaching the square turn right, go to the end of the square and then turn right again. From the square, you can then follow a pathway straight ahead to the Lower Sports Hall building. Enter the building and the Sports Hall is on the right-hand side.
