Join us for the season of Tuesdays evenings, our weekly themed Class & Dance evenings at our regular Fareham venue, Fareham Social Club. This is a lovely venue with parking and a spacious dancefloor!

December 15th: End of Term Xmas Party

7.45pm - 8.15pm class - will include moves from our Intermediate & Inters Plus level courses.
8.45pm - 9.15pm class - will include moves from our Inters Plus and Advanced level courses.

We'll be running the most uplifting mix of swingin' tunes for freestyle practice between and after class!

Following the tradition of our Tuesdays in 2025-26, we'll be in action every week until 15th December.

From the start of October we'll be mixing things up a lot more! Every session will offer a different take, whether that's a focus on particular types of styles, moves or music! You can book your season ticket on this page to join us for the rest of the year.

Class & Dance Evening

Join us for this post-term Class & Dance evening at our regular Farnborough venue, Wavell Hall in Wavell School. This is a lovely venue with parking and a spacious dancefloor!

The evening will feature one 30-minute class starting 7.30pm with participation optional, along with dancing to swinging tunes until 9.30pm.

Spaces need to be pre-booked online via this booking page.

Guests can attend on their own or with a partner. Dancers will be invited to rotate during classes, those preferring to remain with a fixed partner are welcome to do so.

This evening is the perfect opportunity to practice your moves, whether you've just completed the term or getting some practice after a break! Everyone is welcome, but the evening would suit most people who have danced before and want a good fun evening out.

WHAT HAPPENS?

At the start of the evening, there is an initial fun SwingJive class.

Our team will play your favourite tunes for freestyle practice after the class.

You can dance the night away until the last track finishes at 9.30pm. Our friendly team will be on hand too, in case you need help with any moves, or just fancy a dance!

WHO CAN COME?

This evening is aimed at those who have been on recent courses or who wish to resume social dancing. All are welcome, but these evenings are not suited for those who have never danced before.

If your SwingJive moves need a bit of practice then our Beginner's Refresher Workshop is perfect for you! This is a stand-alone evening workshop, open to anybody who has started a 10-week Absolute Beginners SwingJive course with us at any time, no matter how long ago!

With a running time of 2 hours 15 minutes, the instructors will have time to run through the key parts of the Absolute Beginners SwingJive course. This workshop would suit you if:

you took our Beginners Course in the past and want to jog your memory without spending 10 weeks learning
you're planning on joining a continuation SwingJive course this term and want a quick brush-up on the basics

This workshop is not suitable for complete beginners. We recommend that you book the Absolute Beginners free trial coming up here soon.

This workshop evening is a great opportunity for you to get back in the dance hall and practice your moves. The instructor will cover the contents of the Absolute Beginners 10-week SwingJive course.
