The Swing Dance Company has hosted Ding Dong Daddios at numerous Swinging Balls over the last 20 years. Regulars at The Swing Dance Company’s Swinging Balls, the band continued to build its reputation at festivals such as Goodwood Revival and Carfest.
Other big-name performers such as Mike Sanchez, The Jive Aces, Si Cranstoun, King Pleasure and The Biscuit Boys, The Regular Joes, Laura B and Her Band, Swing Commanders, Big Boy Bloater and Miss Annie and The Midnight Shift have graced our stage. One of the most regular performers for The Swing Dance Company, Ding Dong Daddios deliver music that is fantastic for jive and swing dancing time after time. And those vocals - so smooth! Like so many shows before, we are expecting another sell-out for the Swinging May Ball 2023.
Ding Dong Daddios Return
The Swing Dance Company has hosted Ding Dong Daddios at numerous Swinging Balls over the last 20 years. Regulars at The Swing Dance Company's Swinging Balls, the band continued to build its reputation at festivals such as Goodwood Revival and Carfest.
Other big-name performers such as Mike Sanchez, The Jive Aces, Si Cranstoun, King Pleasure and The Biscuit Boys, The Regular Joes, Laura B and Her Band, Swing Commanders, Big Boy Bloater and Miss Annie and The Midnight Shift have graced our stage. We're delighted that Ding Dong Daddios were keen to return to The Swing Dance Company this year.
Just 15 minutes north of our previous venue and similar in size and layout, Barton Hall is a dedicated function suite at Horndean Technology College, Horndean, just 5 minutes from the A3. There is ample parking on-site, a welcoming reception area, a huge dance floor and a licenced bar.
More Than Just a Live Band Event
Our Swinging Balls are more than just live band events, with memorable decorations, themed treats, and fun surprises.
A spacious dance floor, ample seating, and tables will be awaiting you in the main hall. Attendees are encouraged to use the fully licensed bar. The evening is perfect whether you prefer to dance non-stop or just kick back, socialise and enjoy the live music. The venue is easy to get to, attracting dancers from all over the South!
Warm-Up Lesson & Swinging DJ
Our teachers will be giving a warm-up lesson to start the evening off, suitable for all levels. The Swinging DJ team will play a great mix of swing, rock’n’roll and rhythm and blues tracks to keep the dance floor busy at all other times.
