Swinging Balls are open to all, so you're sure to have a great night whether you come on your own, with a partner, or with friends. Our celebrated Swinging Balls have been running for over 20 years. They have built a splendid reputation, attracting the UK's finest jive and swing bands along with huge attendances.

The Revolutionaires have been building their reputation for over 20 years as they perform jumpin' hot rhythm & blues. Influenced by the likes of Louis Jordan, Little Richard and Chuck Berry they've developed a unique, powerful sound.
The Revolutionaires First Show For The Swing Dance Co
Hailing from the North-East of England, and playing at festivals across Europe, The Revolutionaires don't often play on the South Coast. The Swing Dance Co team have spent several years organising a date to host this much-sought-after band.
The Revolutionaires will be playing for our dancers for the first time, so come and check them out!
Other big-name performers such as The Jive Aces, Mike Sanchez, Si Cranstoun, King Pleasure and The Biscuit Boys and The Regular Joes have graced our stage.
Just 15 minutes north of our previous venue and similar in size and layout, Barton Hall is a dedicated function suite at Horndean Technology College, Horndean, just 5 minutes from the A3. There is ample parking on-site, a welcoming reception area, a huge dance floor and a licenced bar.
More Than Just a Live Band Event
Our Swinging Balls are more than just live band events, with memorable decorations, themed treats, and fun surprises.
A spacious dance floor, ample seating, and tables will be awaiting you in the main hall. Attendees are encouraged to use the fully licensed bar. The evening is perfect whether you prefer to dance non-stop or just kick back, socialise and enjoy the live music. The venue is easy to get to, attracting dancers from all over the South!
Warm-Up Lesson & Swinging DJ
Our teachers will be giving a warm-up lesson to start the evening off, suitable for all levels. The Swinging DJ team will play a great mix of swing, rock’n’roll and rhythm and blues tracks to keep the dance floor busy at all other times.

Barton Hall Function Suite is situated in Horndean Technology College, PO8 9PQ.
It’s just 5 minutes off the A3(M), just north of Waterlooville, so it provides great access links for dancers in all directions.

This venue provides us with a huge dance floor, ample parking, stage and bar so it’s perfect for a big night out with a live band.
The main entrance to the site is via Barton Cross and the large car parks are to the rear of the site. If you’ve not been to this venue before, check out our videos below to help find where to park on-site, and how to get from the car park to the hall.
