Class & Dance Evening – Bring a Dance Partner
Join us for this one-off evening featuring fun classes and dancing. This session will feature a 30-minute class with participation optional, along with an hour of dancing to swinging tunes. Tickets are free but spaces need to be pre-booked. This evening is the perfect opportunity for those who have participated in courses and want some more practice. Also welcome is anyone who has danced before and wants a good fun evening out.WHAT HAPPENS?
At the start of the evening, there is an initial SwingJive class. Our team will play your favourite tunes for freestyle practice before another class begins later. After that, you can dance the night away until the last track finishes at 8.45pm. Our friendly team will be on hand too, in case you need help with any moves, or just fancy a dance!WHO CAN COME?
This evening is aimed at those who have been on recent courses or who wish to resume social dancing.WHAT TIME?
- Doors open 7.15pm
- First Class 7.15-7.45pm
- Finish 8.45pm
- Freestyle Dancing to a playlist between and after classes.

We’re throwing the doors open to welcome you back for a FREE dance evening! We missed running courses in Poole this term, but we are gearing up to return bigger and better.
WHAT HAPPENS?
The session kicks off at 7:15pm with an optional 30-minute SwingJive class. After that, our team will play your favourite swinging tunes for freestyle practice! You can dance the night away until the last track finishes at 8:45pm. Our friendly team will be on hand too, in case you need help with any moves or just fancy a dance!
WHO CAN COME?
This evening is perfect if you have taken a course with us in the past and want some free practice among friendly faces, or if you simply wish to resume social dancing in a welcoming environment.
WANT TO JOIN OUR TEAM?
We are expanding for next term and we would love to welcome passionate dancers to our team! We are currently recruiting coaches, demonstrators, and trainee teachers. Book your free ticket and have a casual chat with the team to see if it might suit you!

The Venue is Parkstone Grammar School, Sopers Lane in Poole, BH17 7EP.
This outstanding school is the setting for regular Swing Jive courses in the Poole area.
We use the Main Hall, which is conveniently situated near the car park via reception. There is ample parking on-site, just a few steps from the Main Hall.

As you drive into the school you will come to the main car park. Park anywhere in the car park.
Access the Main Hall via Reception
Follow signs to Reception and enter the building. Once in reception, turn left and you will see the Main Hall directly in front of you.

Occasionally our classes will run in the gym if the Main Hall is not available.
To find the gym, head through Reception as normal. Take the door to the left of reception as you look at it and pass through the fitness room, which will take you straight through to the gym.
