The Swing Dance Company is thrilled to invite you to The Stardust Swinging Ball featuring The Fifinellas – our biggest social dance event of the Autumn. Join our friendly and welcoming community for an unforgettable evening of live music, magic, and, of course, magnificent swing dancing.
Dress to Dazzle and Dance the Night Away to a Full Swinging Band
The Fifinellas are a vastly experienced power group of musicians that will be familiar to regular attendees of our Swinging Balls.
Performers from "Miss Annie and The Midnight Shift" and "The Regular Joes", both bands that repeatedly sold out our Swinging Balls, have teamed up with the talented ladies from The Fifinellas, who had vast experience performing as a Puppini Sisters-style vocal trio before forming the full band.
Whether you're inspired by the one of the best swinging bands around, or you love the glamorous stars of the silver screen, this is your night to shine! We're creating a fun, encouraging, and inclusive atmosphere where everyone can get active and have a fantastic time. Our gorgeous venue features a large dance floor perfect for jiving and a licensed bar to keep you refreshed all evening.
Live Music from The Fifinellas!
We are absolutely delighted to welcome the incredible Fifinellas Swing Band! For this special night, they're bringing their full, spectacular full swinging band, featuring three amazing vocalists, tenor sax, piano, guitar, bass, and drums.
If the name is new to you, you’ll definitely know the musicians! The band is made up of talented performers from The Midnight Shift, and The Regular Joes. Vocalists Louise and George have also sung with the wonderful Miss Annie for over 25 years. This is a lineup packed with faces and voices you’ll know and love!

Swinging Balls are open to all, so you're sure to have a great night whether you come on your own, with a partner, or with friends. Our celebrated Swinging Balls have been running for 20 years. They have built a splendid reputation, attracting the UK's finest jive and swing bands along with huge attendances.
Just 15 minutes north of our previous venue and similar in size and layout, Barton Hall is a dedicated function suite at Horndean Technology College, Horndean, just 5 minutes from the A3. There is ample parking on-site, a welcoming reception area, a huge dance floor and a licenced bar.
More Than Just a Live Band Event
Our Swinging Balls are more than just live band events, with memorable decorations, themed treats, and fun surprises.
A spacious dance floor, ample seating, and tables will be awaiting you in the main hall. Attendees are encouraged to use the fully licensed bar. The evening is perfect whether you prefer to dance non-stop or just kick back, socialise and enjoy the live music. The venue is easy to get to, attracting dancers from all over the South!
Warm-Up Lesson & Swinging DJ
Our teachers will be giving a warm-up lesson to start the evening off, suitable for all levels. The Swinging DJ team will play a great mix of swing, rock’n’roll and rhythm and blues tracks to keep the dance floor busy at all other times.

Laura B and Her Band are Coming Back!
Having performed at five previous Swing Dance Co Swinging Balls (all were sell-outs), we can look forward to this event with excitement and confidence that Laura B and Her Band will deliver a performance that is perfect for our dancers.
Laura B's powerhouse vocals have made her the UK's foremost authentic Rhythm & Blues vocalist and performer. She is backed by an all-star band of musicians that have previously played for some of the finest acts in the UK such as The Mike Sanchez Band, Blue Harlem and Sugar Ray's Flying Fortress.
Laura B and Her Band have played some amazing events such as London Royal Festival Hall, Twinwood Festival, Vintage at Goodwood Festival as well as numerous festivals across Europe.
