Join us on Tuesdays in Fareham for this limited run of 7 evenings featuring fun classes and dancing from 7.30-9.45pm. These evenings will feature two 30 minute classes at Beginner/Inter and Intermediate Plus levels with participation optional, along with dancing to a Swinging DJ.
This format is designed so that those who wish to stay covid-safe are able to do so. This is achieved by limiting the capacity via pre-booking and attending with a dedicated dance partner. This allows suitable space on the dancefloor and in the seating area. By remaining with your chosen partner during class you can keep your distance from others if you prefer. Those who wish to dance with others are free to do so during the freestyle dancing section of the evening.
These evenings are the perfect opportunity for you to get back in the swing of things in a fun and friendly environment regardless of your previous level of experience.
WHAT HAPPENS? At the start of each evening, there is a beginner SwingJive class, which you can join whatever your level. Our DJ then plays your favourite tunes for freestyle practise, before a more challenging class begins at 8.30pm. After that, you can dance the night away until the last track finishes at 9.45pm.
