Expired Farnborough Free Practice

Everybody is welcome for a free practice session on Mondays at Wavell Hall, Farnborough, 7.15-8.30pm! There is no termly fee but guests are welcome to make a contribution, all profits will go to a local charity.

Mondays to 1st July

This run of Mondays from 8th April to 1st July (excluding Bank Holiday Mondays) will run as a free practice session, with everybody welcome to come along and hone your skills. All are welcome, whether you are on a course currently, have learned with us in the past or even a social dancer in the area who has never attended our classes before.

As there is no lesson content, attendees can come along for as many or as few of the 10 sessions as suits you.

Time to Practice Your Dancing 

There will be no formal lesson, but we will be playing our normal playlist for attendees to have a dance. Our regular team will be present to offer informal assistance and ensure the session goes with a flow. The session will finish by 8.30pm, when a regular Intermediate Green Swing Jive course commences.

Profits to Charity

As this run of practice sessions has been arranged at short notice and contains no formal tuition we are not looking to profit from the session. Should attendees wish to make a contribution then we will donate all income over and above hall hire and wages to the Farnham-based Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. Please don’t feel obliged to contribute, we would prefer to see people making use of the practice opportunity.

Possibilities for the Future

Depending on how these free practice sessions proceed, we hope to have more regular opportunities to dance locally.
