Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice, The Swing Dance Company team are holding a special, one-off charity tea dance featuring live swinging singer Paddy Edgar. This event is being run in support of The Royal British Legion.

Returning to The Crofton Club for the first time in 15 years, the team look forward to welcoming friends new and old. As well as being an important member of The Swing Dance Company team, John Hardman is also a keen fundraiser.

Chance to Dance at the Charity Armistice Tea Dance

This will be a splendid late afternoon of dancing, socialising, nostalgia and having fun with great music. With limited capacity, tickets need to be booked in advance.

This laid back Sunday afternoon treat is an ideal hang-out for new and existing social dancers, as a practice session or a happy welcome back for lapsed dancers. We’ll be playing all the popular tunes from our classes so you can practice all you have learned. The premises is licensed and the bar will be open, so drinks can be purchased at the bar, please do not bring your own drinks.
