Start the New Year in style at the Botley Tea Dance!

Share tea, biscuits and fantastic cakes with friendly faces from one of our longest established Swing Dance Company venues. A splendid late afternoon of dancing, socialising and having fun with great music is coming up. With limited capacity, tickets need to be booked in advance.

This laid back Sunday afternoon treat is an ideal hang-out for new and existing social dancers, as a practice session or a happy welcome back for lapsed dancers. We’ll be playing all the popular tunes from our classes so you can practice all you have learned recently. Tea, coffee and water will be available – guests are welcome to bring alcohol and other refreshments.

The event will start with a fun 30 minute warm-up lesson taught by Lorraine, which will be accessible to all levels. All levels are welcome, with extra assistance for newer and lapsed dancers. Coaches will be on hand in case you forget your steps and taxi dancers will ensure that everybody will get to dance as much as they want!

Many an enjoyable party has taken place at The Botley Centre, with it’s fantastic dance floor. Located in the picturesque village of Botley, the venue is located next to a large park. The venue has ample parking and is easy to find, near Hedge End and M27 Jct. 7
