SwingJive courses are returning to Wavell School in Farnborough, and they will be backed up with free access to the full course online!

The perfect follow on for most people who have completed 3 or more terms. You’ll need to have completed at least the Beginners Course, and BOTH Green and Yellow Intermediate courses to join this level. This Purple Inters Plus course is the next progression, offering a different range of moves, variations and technical content, building on your knowledge from Beginner and Intermediate levels. The Blue, Orange and Purple Intermediate Plus courses are all at the same level of difficulty and can be taken in any order.

Our 10 week courses are well-structured and build week-on-week. A new move is taught each week to form memorable short sequences. We also ensure plenty of free practice time to let you add the moves to your existing repertoire.  https://theswingdancecompany.co.uk/course-moves/

What Happens If…

  • If the local area, venue, teacher or demonstrator are locked down or ordered to self-isolate then the venue-based course will be paused until we can resume. The online course will be available in line with the original weekly schedule.
  • If you, as an attendee, are told to self-isolate or have any COVID symptoms or are unwell you should not attend. Equivalent classes will be made available digitally for anybody who cannot attend so that you can keep up. The free repeat course guarantee will continue to be available too, but refunds won’t be available.

These are our standard terms. By booking a course we understand that you accept the following;

Payment for all courses other than beginners is required in advance. Once you have made payment no refunds are available, however if we cancel a course we will offer a refund or an alternative course.

Class Sizes Courses are filled on a 1st-come 1st-served basis and limited according to capacity of venue. Courses with less than 12 people by the early booking date may be cancelled.

Partners All course attendees should arrange their own partner for the course. Whilst we can offer assistance, neither The Swing Dance Company nor our teachers accepts responsibility for arranging partners.

Health & Safety It’s your responsibility to inform your teacher if you have any illness, disability or condition which may affect your safety in class. By paying for a course you agree that all activities undertaken are done so at your own risk.
