New term of 10 Week courses at Bay House School, Gosport on Mondays running weekly!

Lindy Hop is the original swing dance and is the most important influence on our SwingJive Courses, you can learn how to Lindy Hop on this course! Our SwingJive courses were originally designed as a pathway for non-dancers to reach a level where they could comfortably enjoy learning Lindy Hop, which is a technically more demanding dance style.

Everybody is welcome to join this course, there is no pre-requisite. However Lindy Hop is a more challenging style of dance than SwingJive, so we would recommend that those with no previous experience join our Absolute Beginners SwingJive courses, which runs in the same hall at the earlier time, details on this link. This Lindy Hop course would suit those people who have either experience in other dance styles, or have completed at least 2 of our SwingJive courses.

Our SwingJive Courses will have introduced participants to some elements of Lindy Hop, including Charleston and 6-beat rhythm, so we will show you how to integrate Swing Jive and Lindy Hop.

Maximum of 30 people per course, available on a first-come first-serve basis. Early Booking rates at £70 and £75. Full price £80 per person per course.
