Expired Yeovil Free Practice

Everybody is welcome for a free practice session on Wednesdays at Westlands Entertainment venue, Yeovil, 8-9.15pm! This is a weekly informal drop-in session with swinging’ practice music, dance floor space and an instructor available for informal guidance. There is  no fee but guests are welcome to make a contribution, all profits will go to a local charity.

Wednesdays to 3rd July

This run of Wednesdays from 22nd May to 3rd July will run as a free practice session, with everybody welcome to come along. All are welcome, whether you are on a course currently, have learned with us or you’re an experienced jive or swing dancer wanting to enjoy some dance floor space. All are welcome, there is no need to have attended our classes before.

As there is no lesson content, you can come along for as many or as few of the 10 sessions as suits you.

Time to Practice Your Dancing 

There will be no formal lesson, but we will be playing our normal playlist for attendees to have a dance. Our regular team will be present to offer informal assistance and ensure the session goes with a flow.

Profits to Charity

As this run of practice sessions has been arranged at short notice and contains no formal tuition we are not looking to profit from the session. Should attendees wish to make a contribution then we will donate all income over and above our travel, hall hire and wages to the Yeovil-based St Margaret’s Hospice. Please don’t feel obliged to contribute, we would prefer to see people making use of the practice opportunity.

Possibilities for the Future

Depending on how these free practice sessions proceed, we hope to have more regular opportunities to dance locally.
