Class & Dance Evening - Bring a Dance Partner

Join us for this one-off evening featuring fun classes and dancing.

This session will feature two 30-minute classes with participation optional, along with dancing to swinging tunes.

Spaces need to be pre-booked with a set partner, you'll need to remain with your partner during the lessons.

This evening is the perfect opportunity for those who have been participating in courses to round off the term. Also welcome is anyone who has danced before and wants a good fun evening out.

WHAT HAPPENS?

At the start of the evening, there is an initial SwingJive class. The difficulty levels of the classes are based on the difficulty level of the courses that have recently finished on the same evening.

Our team will play your favourite tunes for freestyle practice before another class begins later.

After that, you can dance the night away until the last track finishes at 9.20pm. Our friendly team will be on hand too, in case you need help with any moves, or just fancy a dance!

WHO CAN COME?

This evening is aimed at those who have been on recent courses or who wish to resume social dancing.

Doors open 7.15pm
First Class 7.15-7.45pm
Second Class 8.15-8.45pm
Finish 9.20pm
Freestyle Dancing to a playlist between and after classes.

Travel to the Venue

Fareham Social Club is situated along Mill Road, which is ONLY accessible from the Redlands Lane end. You can’t access Mill Road directly off the A32 southbound, please find your way onto Redlands Lane. The turning for Mill Road is halfway along, near the railway bridge. Fareham Social Club is along Mill Road on the left-hand side. Enter the first driveway, directly before the building, and follow the driveway alongside the building to arrive at a large car park at the rear.

Finding The Hall

Enter through the Main Entrance of the front of the building. We use the Main Function room, which is through the door to the right at the rear of the entrance.

The venue has stipulated that nobody should be using the fire exit in the function room unless there is an emergency, so please respect this requirement.
