Schools & Colleges

schools-2From non-competitive physical activity, to living history lessons or skills to enhance an upcoming drama production, the classes we offer always go down a storm with students. And for students on dance courses, swing dance can make an interesting cultural diversity option.

Swing dance styles bring history lessons to life with dramatic effect. From the Bugsy Malone  vibe of 1920s Charleston, the joys of 1930s depression era lindy hop, 1940s GI Jive jitterbugging or classic 1950s rock’n’roll, we can bring fun to history lessons or bring flair to school productions!

Feedback from the students is great – they are buzzing about it!” J Cotton, Bay House School, Gosport

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the rock and roll workshop Clare and you did at Harrison School last Wednesday afternoon.  The children (and the teachers!!) thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and when we got back to class we had several spontaneous dance performances to the rock and roll music I was playing. Hopefully it can become a feature of the Post 1948 history project!” K Saleh, Harrison Primary School, Fareham
